Innovation and Procurement
Organized together with the UK Department of Trade and Industry, this 6CP workshop examined how barriers to innovation-friendly procurement (such as lack of encouragement to adopt innovative products and services, inflexible public procurement practices, heavy costs and bureaucracy associated with bidding processes, etc) might be overcome, and how innovative solutions might improve the quality of public service and support innovation in business.
